ShivaNova has managed to secure funding to work with the Folkestone Nepalese community to develop an organic community farm where Nepalese families grow different vegetables that they use in their cooking and for their community events. We organise Open Days, Food Taster Days, workshops and walks for school groups, families and special needs groups to visit and learn more about vegetable growing and cooking south Asian and Nepalese vegetables curries. The farm is located in the outstanding natural Kent Downs landscape near Folkestone next to the Old Pilgrims Way with footpaths through the chalk downs.
